Who we are
PrivateEquityRecap is an EXITstrategies program run by ExitStrategies.com. "We" and "us" on this page mean ExitStrategies.com. You can reach us at info@exitstrategies.com or (814) 564-5252.
What we collect
- What you type into our form: your name, email and company, and anything else you choose to add, such as revenue and earnings bands, your role, business type, state, timing and what you would like to explore.
- Your phone number, only if you give it. The phone field is optional, and so is the box that lets us call or text you.
- A little context sent with the form: the page address you sent it from, the page that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, which ad brought you here).
- Basic technical data: like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as your IP address and browser type. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address. This site does not set advertising cookies or run analytics trackers today; if that changes, we will update this page first.
- Lead forms on Facebook or Instagram: if you answer one of our ads with a Meta instant form, Meta hosts that form and passes your answers to us. Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta does with them.
Why we collect it
To reply to your inquiry, to assess whether a recap or a sale could fit your company, and to follow up about that inquiry. We do not use your details for anything unrelated to your inquiry.
Who receives it
- Our team, to review your answers and reply.
- The service providers that run our systems: our CRM, email and form-processing providers, and our phone and text providers if you gave us a number and consent. They handle your details only to provide those services to us.
- Buyers, only with your authorization. Nothing that identifies you or your company goes to a prospective buyer until that buyer has signed an NDA and you have authorized it.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Calls and texts
We contact you by email by default. We call or text you only if you gave us a number and checked the optional consent box, or asked us to call. You can withdraw that consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, or tell us by email or phone. Message and data rates may apply.
How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry for as long as we are discussing it with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have a record of what was said. When it is no longer needed, or when you ask us to delete it, we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we protect it
Your details travel over an encrypted connection, and we limit who on our team and among our providers can see them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send financial statements or other sensitive documents through the form; we will arrange a secure way to share them if it comes to that.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Stop calls, texts or follow-up email at any time.

Children
This site is for business owners. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and its effective date.
